Well, I've got a bit of time to kill at the Munich airport. The U.S. is really overkill - in just how hard it is to get Visas to visit the country and how many freaking security checks i had to go through today. Three security checks with x-ray scanners, two passport controls, and two additional questionings of 'did you pack this yourself, etc'. At least the U.S. can't complain that Germany's not doing their job.

(At least my passport got stamped here - it didn't in Poland. :( *pouts* )
One of the souvenirs I bought broke already, hopefully the others won't. The champagne glasses for my parents are in my carry-on again and I think when I get back to Boston, I'll schedule those massages for [livejournal.com profile] bad_influence and me with the gift certificates we got.

Boarding is starting soon, and [livejournal.com profile] spaige distracted me from updating - mainly because he's in the same time zone as me.

Full update to come later.

Well, okay, so, technically, my feet haven't touched the ground yet, but I am at IAD, chilling after clearing customs (i actually got asked questions this time - I was so shocked I started stuttering) getting my bags and then rechecking them. So much hassle.

I should be back in Boston around 7ish tonight.

I've read bits and pieces of lj in the last week, but if something major's happened, leave a comment to point me in that direction or email me.

I can't wait to see people, but I'm feeling very ambiguous about being back in the U.S. I'd forgotten how much I like being abroad and traveling. There are thoughts and rumblings in my brain on this topic, but that will have to wait till later.

Gotta, say, I prefer my cute blond customs agent in Munich to the big burly Constantine I had here who looked like he could break me in half.
