Today I finished sewing my dress for my brother's wedding... and then at 10pm decided that I didn't like the upper front bodice, so deconstructed the dress, cut out a different front bodice, stitched that in and then finished it. And it's much more aesthetically pleasing now and figure flattering.
And then I cut out most of the fabric for jess' dress. Decided to combine two different sari-inspired fabrics for her dress and that's on the agenda for tomorrow. Along with various other last minute things.
Things I've learned:
-I would really like to sew a fair portion of my own clothes
-I wouldn't mind taking a sewing class or two. (along with art classes, culinary classes, dance classes, etc..)
