beginners derby luck?

First time I ever put money on a horse race (or any race/game) and I won. Unfortunately, not as high pay out odds as when I made my bet, but my $2 i put on Street sense earns me $9 $11.80. hey, that's a movie. :)

*grins* i'm shocked. I never pick winners. And during the last week, he became the favorite to win. Favorites don't win the derby. but yes, i'm a pleased little girl right now.
